1996 | In February 1996 Karl-Heinz Theisen founded the process measuring technique company proMtec as exclusive managing director first with the registered place of business Bad Herrenalb. Since the initial days the company is engaged exclusively with measuring technique for the industrial process control and did put the focus on the application of a special microwave technology. |
2000 | With first growth the company moves to Ettlingen. At the end of 2000 the new seat in the traffic-favourably trade area Albtal has started, first still with 3 co-workers. |
2001 | After introduction of a new product line incoming orders can be achieved of 1.4 millions €. |
2004 | Over 1.000 measuring instruments are successfully installed in factories world-wide. |
2005 | After further extraordinarily successful acquisitions in the entire Europe and in the rising Asia in 2005 there are already sold more then 1.500 measuring systems, and in use. Up to then already a business transaction of nearly 2.3 millions € is reached with a growth of approx. 49% in the two previous years. However at the master seat in the trade area Albtal in Ettlingen there are already 10 co-workers working. |

2009 | proMtec is largely unaffected by the global economic crisis. On the contrary, the company expanded its product range to stretch the market activity. |
2010 | Over 3,500 measuring devices have been delivered. The sales and distributor network is continuously expanded, to ensure the best possible local service. |
